Exhaust Air

The exhaust air is extracted through a hose to the exhaust plenum via a design faceplate, a filter and the angular connecting piece. The exhaust plenum is composed of individual components of conical shape. On each of these components there is a throttle flap for the adjustment of the exhaust air amount for each individual room. The air is directed from the exhaust plenum to the ventilation unit in a main line via a silencer.

The exhaust air inlets can be positioned in the wall (near the ceiling) or in the ceiling; a lateral clearance of at least 2 m should be kept around the stove in the kitchen.

The optimised fluidic components of our exhaust air guide are manufactured to fit accurately so that they only need to be stuck together. The hoses are additionally fastened with a clamping ring. Each exhaust air opening is equipped with a washable filter, which protects the subsequent piping system from dirt. Alternatively to the hoses (diameter of 80 mm), the exhaust air can also be directed through our flat ducts in the floor.
As usual with Pluggit, the components are available in convenient sets, so that only an additional exhaust air set and the exhaust air hose are required for the connection of another exhaust air room, for example.
After the exhaust air has transferred its heat to the supply air in the ventilation unit (heat recovery), it is led out of the house as outgoing air via a roof hood or wall-mounted hood.
